Egypt offers multiples opportunities for international investors who'd like to consider basing certain stages of their production and business cycles in Egypt, in order to gain a favorable access to African and Middle Eastern markets. This research displays competitive advantages that qualify Egypt to play such role, especially its preferential trade agreements with major trade blocs. It also shows efforts exerted by Egyptian authorities to improve the investment climate in egypt, of which adopting a free-float exchange rate regime, decreasing tax rates and amending different laws to protect international investments and encourage their expansion.
