Mezzogiorno: panorama economico di mezz’estate 2023

SRM continues to monitor the economic and productive reality of the Mezzogiorno, also providing a picture of how much the Southern italy is ready to achieve the primary objectives of relaunch and resilience and how much there is still to be done. Specifically, tre annual report outlines: on the one hand, the current socio-economic context as a starting point for a new development path; and on the other hand, seven pillars on which to base it: 1) Training and Research; 2) Innovation and Digitization; 3) Environment and Bioeconomy; 4) Tourism; 5) Social Economy; 6) Maritime Economy; 7) Energy.

With this report we want to provide an "understanding tool" of how much the Mezzogiorno is ready to achieve the primary objectives of relaunch and resilience and of how far there is, however, still to be done.
