In this essay SRM collects the results of the first survey addressed to the construction sector. 700 national construction companies were interviewed, 300 of which from the souther Italy, with the aim of monitoring the signs of change in line with the new international economic policy guidelines. Among the topics addressed were: the propensity to invest, the degree of knowledge of and participation in the NRP and SEZs, internationalisation (exports, supply relationships and international supply chains), new trends, especially in terms of sustainability.
