On Wednesday 30 October SRM was at the Confitarma Public Assembly: 'Shipday24 - The ship in the future'.
Shipday24 was an opportunity to meet leading national and international shipping companies from the various sectors of goods and passenger transport as well as shipping services and was held at the Naples Maritime Station and on the Costa Smeralda ship.
Alessandro Panaro, Head Maritime & Energy SRM, was a speaker at the Stazione Marittima in the Sala Agave as part of the Panel Nave Driver Geopolitico.
This 11th edition, also realised thanks to the contribution of MOST - Centro Nazionale per la Mobilità Sostenibile, is dedicated to the analysis of the new challenges of maritime transport in the Euro-Mediterranean area: the Red Sea crisis and the transformations driven by green models. With the support of national and international research centers as well as fruitful collaboration with other departments of Intesa Sanpaolo, this volume presents trends in innovation, sustainability, intermodality, and digitalization through original analyses, data, and unique interpretative keys. A specific essay dedicated to Special Economic Zones (SEZs) was curated by one of the young members of the #Meets4Future community of SRM.
