The fifth edition of the survey aims to offer an updated snapshot of the logistical opportunities and best practices available for import and export through the logistics corridors of Northern Italy, as well as some significant ideas for guiding strategic choices that meet the objectives and the priorities expressed by the market and by the main stakeholders of the logistics sector. 

The study is based on a sample of 400 manufacturing companies located in three Italian regions (Lombardy, Veneto, and Emilia Romagna), and analyzes the logistical preferences related to the use of Italian gateway ports and the modes of transport to transfer goods to and from the ports, with a final focus on the district of Mechatronics of Reggio Emilia. 

The report also addresses the issues of digitalization, sustainability, reshoring, and the Russo-Ukrainian war.
